First Snowy Climb of the season

That small amount of snow, which fell last Tuesday, actually stuck around on the shadowed side of Gwanak mountain.

Whilst climbing along our Osiris's Ridge Tour, we had to move up through the snow.

Handlines had to be fixed on sections that you'd ordinarily skip through.

Snow is beautiful, but it deserves respect too. From afar, it looks like a clean blanket over the mountains but once you get closer, it is cold, and it can be wet; it hides the trails; it is slippery.
