Our Hiking Tours are fully customisable!

(If, instead, you're interested in one of our Set Tours, jump ahead by CLICKING HERE)

Perhaps you have a particular summit in mind; we can certainly get you up to the top of it.

Or maybe there is a panoramic view you've seen somewhere online or on social media - share it with us and there is a good chance we'll know how to get you there.

Maybe you have a fitness goal you're trying to hit, or you'd like some instruction as you begin to tackle mountains by yourself.

We could also take you for a night hike to enjoy views of Seoul city from up on high, or if you're looking to escape the city we can take you into a secluded valley to find hidden waterfalls.

Once you get in touch with us, we'll ask you a few questions and then we'll build a custom hike around your needs and ambitions.

We price our tours a little bit differently to some of the other hiking companies around Seoul.

With Canyoning Korea, you pay a rate for the guide and not a fixed cost per person, which allows you to make some savings if you wish to add friends to your private tour.

Rates start at 80,000 won for a half day hike (Up to 4 hours).

This assumes a local tour accessible via the Seoul Public Transport System.

For a full day hike (Up to 8 hours) the rates start at 150,000 won.

Optional extras may include:

   >Transportation outside of Seoul

   >An additional guide for larger groups (we suggest ratios of 1:6)

   >Lunches

   >Equipment hire (e.g. waterproofs, trekking poles, etc)

   >Multiday hikes

   >Off trail or technically difficult sections of route

   >Wild swimming activities

Hikes are available all year round

Minimum age: 8 years old (accompanied) 12 years old (unaccompanied)

Maximum number of participants: No maximum

Favourite Hiking Tours (Fixed Itineraries)

Seoul: Bukhansan: Munsubong via Bibong Ridge (Full Day)

Instead of heading for Bukhansan's main, but very busy, summit Baekundae, we take this long spectacularly scenic ridge route to one of the mountain's best viewpoints. We start out by climbing up beside a series of waterfalls, which take us up onto a rocky undulating ridgeline that features some of the National Park's most distinctive rock formations. From our trail, we have a vantage point over the whole of the mountain, giving us a true sense of the its scale and majesty.

Outside Seoul: Seoraksan Dinosaur Ridge (Full Day)

This is a genuinely challenging hike but it pays massive rewards. The views are stunning as this trail winds its way around some of Seoraksan's rocky pinnacles.

We start at the main Sokcho entrance to the National Park, which gives us a very gentle warm up hike into the lower stretches of Cheonbuldong Valley. Once we hit Biseondae Rock, we tackle a steep climb up around and behind Yooseondae Rock - and then we are on the ridge proper. From here, the beauty of the mountain is fully revealed.

At the end of the ridge, we descend back into Cheonbuldong valley and follow it back down to our start location, completing a 20km loop and enjoying the waterfalls and sapphire blue pools along the way.
