We're really sorry! This page is currently still in development - but don't worry, we do have climbing tours on offer - if you don't mind getting in touch, we can give you all the info!

For climbers just starting out, or with a bit of experience already and looking to take the next big step, we have a range of climbing activities on offer.
On this page, you'll find details about our Single Pitch, Multi Pitch Sport, Multi Pitch Trad and Bouldering activities.

Use these links to jump ahead to the relevant sections:

We know that travelling with all of your climbing gear is not especially convenient (or if you're just starting out, it's expensive). When it comes to helmets and harnesses, we've got you covered.
For shoes and crack gloves, you'll have to bring those yourself. It's simply too hard for us, as a relatively small company, to stock all the shoes in their various sizes, fits and styles to accommodate everyone interested in coming out with us. If this is an issue, contact us in advance and we'll see how we can help you out (it's possible we have an old pair of shoes knocking around; otherwise we can point you in the direction of some of the best climbing shops in Seoul).

For Multi-pitch climbing trips you'll need to be able to belay. If you're unsure about your abilities, please get in touch and we can put your mind at ease or get you on a more appropriate activity.

Guided Multi Pitch Climbs (Trad and Mixed) - Seoul

Stepping off the train at Dobongsan Station (on lines 1 and 7 of the Seoul Metro system) and a glorious granite peak immediately comes into view through the windows looking west.
This is Seoninbong. Slightly quieter than Insubong, on Bukhansan, with what we think is an easier hike in, this peak and some of its close neighbours have what we believe are some of the best multi pitch climbs on offer in South Korea.

These are some of the Guided Trad Climbs we currently have on offer:

Seoninbong - Namcheukgil - 7 pitches - 5.8 (4c HVS)
250,000 won for 1 person / 400,000 won for 2 people

Arguably the easiest way up to the top of Seoninbong, Namcheukgil still has a couple of genuinely intimidating pitches. Its starts off easy with some crack and flake climbing, which takes you to a pendulum traverse. After this, there is a short section of chimney. From here, you step out of the shadows onto a bold slab traverse. Once this is done, progress is more relaxed up to the summit with an easy slab and short cave climb.
2 rappels bring you back down to the bottom.

Approach: 1 hour 30 mins + / Climb 1 hour 30 mins + / Rappel & Return 1 hour 30 mins +

Manjangbong - Nangmangil - 6 pitches - 5.7 (4a VS)
240,000 won for 1 person / 380,000 for 2 people

Nangmangil is one of the easiest multi pitch routes on Dobongsan but should not be taken too lightly. It has a mixture of slab and chimney climbing with things getting progressively more challenging and exposed as you approach the top. The final two pitches are stunning with some incredibly satisfying climbing for the grade. This is the perfect intro to trad multi pitch.
The rappels back to the trail are nice and short with generous platforms from which to begin your descents, making them ideal for first timers.

Approach: 1 hour 30 mins + / Climb 1 hour 30 mins + / Rappel & Return 1 hour 30 mins +On weekends, allow for longer times as this route can be very popular.

Seoninbong & Manjangbong via Namcheukgil, Manjangbong Ridge and Nangmangil P5-6

260,000 won for 1 person / 420,000 for 2 people

Connecting Seonibong and Manjangbong is an interesting section of ridgeline. There is a short rappel, a slab traverse and one short pitch of crack climbing (which is probably the crux of the whole route).
Making your way over to Manjanbong has the added advantage of setting you up for a quicker and easier rappel.

Approach: 1 hour 30 mins + / Climb 2 hour 30 mins + / Rappel & Return 1 hour 30 mins +

Manjangbong Ridge Pics coming soon!

Ideal as a half day activity for indoor climbers looking to transition to climbing outside, Single Pitch climbing allows you to maximise time on the rope to develop your technical skills. For those very new to the sport, we can help coach you through the fundamentals of belaying. If you've done plenty of top roping and you'd you like to learn how to lead, we can sort that out for you too.
There are many venues easily accessible via the Seoul Public Transportation system. Let us know where you are, and what style of climbing you'd prefer, and we can find a venue most convenient for you.
